Dan Monick is a photographer and director living and working in Los Angeles.
Renowned for his raw 35mm portraits of icons from Kendrick Lamar to Bob Odenkirk to Bella Thorne, Dan is also a restless creator of personal work, collaging his photography into limited edition zines which showcase his fascination with the underbelly of his adopted city LA.
Dan has exhibited at galleries in the US and Japan, and also co-founded Cash Machine, an independent publisher through which he released his third monograph Psychic Windows in 2016.
His work has appeared in publications including Interview, Paper, Rolling Stone, Playboy, Monocle, V Man, and Schon.
Commercial clients include Google, Nordstrom, Sony, Blu Dot, Capitol Records, Casper, Virgin Mobile, PACSUN, Stussy, and Converse.
