Brendan Keim is a lighting and furniture designer based in Brooklyn, NY. Since receiving his Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design from Pratt Institute in 2005, he has worked with various designers and firms throughout the five boroughs, including Lindsey Adelman, MATTER, Patrick Townsend, Clodagh, PICO, Keith Recker, and Nick Dine. In 2012, Brendan received his Master's of Fine Arts in Furniture Design at Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, RI. He is currently Designer of Lighting at West Elm.
Brendan is a co-founder of McKenzie & Keim, a lighting design studio based in Chicago & New York. McKenzie & Keim designs and produces high quality light fixtures suitable for residential and commercial interiors, merging LED technology with classic materials like brass and glass to create timeless, efficient luminaries.
