Martina Mrongovius explores holographic media through research, artworks, and the curation of exhibitions. After presenting her Applied Physics honors as holographic laser projection artwork she joined the Spatial Information Architecture Laboratory at RMIT University, Australia to complete a PhD on the role of movement in encountering holographic images. Shown in galleries, museums and staircases around the world her signature artworks are installations of spatially animated holographic images that capture psycho-physical experiences of urban landscape.  The exhibitions that she curates for the Center for the Holographic Arts – HoloCenter explore cultures of science, communication and perception, including: ’Interference:Coexistence’ (2013) at The Clock Tower of Long Island City and ‘Ripple Effect’ (2017) on Governors Island.
