Michael Davis started working with stained glass in 1975, and has worked at many stained glass studios in California and New York City. In New York he worked for: Rambush, Greenland Studio, Jack Cushen, St. Ann’s and the Gil Studio. Davis also ran his own glass blowing, stained glass shop in Long Island City for 18 years. He has done many residential commissions, restorations and repairs, and his blown pieces were sold at Tiffany & Co. for 4 years. Davis was also a freelance modern dancer in NYC for 15 years appearing with many downtown companies including: Bill T Jones, David Gordon, Stephen Koplowitz and Beth Leonard.
Davis studied glass painting with John Nessbaum and Albinus Elksus.
