Starr Eaddy is an artist, educator and administrator who holds degrees in Public Health and Nursing. Her studio practice is informed by the discipline, thirst for knowledge and persistence common to martial arts or yoga. In love with movement, her work explores the potential of glass as it transitions from motion to rest, the resulting work ranges from whimsical to contemplative. Starr has taught glass at Urban Glass and Brooklyn Glass, she brings skills from a wide array of academic and artistic disciplines to her teaching and learning. A native New Yorker, she works in Brooklyn.
